Regional Membership Manager – Yorkshire & Humber
We have a truly exciting opportunity to join EEF as Regional Membership Manager, supporting and developing our clients in Yorkshire & Humber, in a field based role.

EEF is a long-established business and the UK’s leading trade body focused on the Manufacturing and Engineering Sector. We offer a range of professional services to our members - principally regarding HR & legal, health & safety, climate & environmental advisory, training & consultancy and work with a broad range of businesses, including world-renowned, blue-chip organisations.
As a Regional Membership Manager, you will be looking to raise the profile and influence of EEF within the Yorkshire & Humber area; working to grow our membership base in the region via new member acquisition, member engagement and member retention; maximizing the business value in the region, through members, clients and commercial partners.
Skills & experience:
- Degree level education, ideally in a relevant subject (business studies, economics, politics, engineering, etc.)
- Experience within either business development, sales, account management/customer service or marketing
- A good understanding of the business environment, ideally with a strong network within the region
- Commercial acumen, with negotiation skills, combined with a “customer first” ethos
- A first-class communicator, with the confidence and gravitas to represent EEF at the highest levels
- Self-motivated and willing to “go the extra mile”
- Collaborative worker
- Experience of building relationships with strategic partners would be beneficial
- An understanding of manufacturing and engineering, ideally with a period of working within the manufacturing sector in a technical and/or commercial role would be beneficial but is not essential
- Previous experience of working for a membership organisation would be beneficial
- Able to undertake travel, both within the region and nationally is essential
- A valid UK driving licence is essential
