An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our multi-award winning team as a Receptionist at our flagship venue Woodland Grange, in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire.

 

We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing exceptional customer service and who is looking to develop a career in the hospitality sector.

 

In the role of Receptionist, you will provide information to our guests throughout their visit, as well as liaising with other departments in the hotel: ensuring our clientele enjoy their time with us and that the Front Office runs smoothly.


Please be aware this role incorporates shift work - this includes early mornings, evenings and weekend work, but does not include overnight shifts. The role is working 5 days out of 7. Typical shifts are 6.30am to 2pm and 2pm to 10.30pm.

 

Woodland Grange is a beautiful 4 star, residential conference venue, with 114 bedrooms and 26 meeting rooms. It is a building full of character, with state-of-the-art facilities, picturesque grounds and a convenient, central location. It is one of only fourteen conference venues in the UK to have achieved the Accredited in Meetings (AIM) Gold Award for superb meeting room facilities and it is a Conference Centre of Excellence, the highest measure of quality within the conference venue sector. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Helping to provide an exceptional experience for all guests
  • Checking guests in and out
  • Ensuring that the department runs efficiently whilst on shift
  • Answering the telephone
  • Dealing with reservations accurately and promptly
  • Banking responsibilities

 

Skills & Experience

  • Experience working in a face to face customer service environment
  • Proactive and customer focused
  • Keen to develop your skills and to progress
  • Experience using a phone and IT equipment in a professional capacity would be beneficial
  • Experience within a hotel/conference environment is desirable, but not essential
