Sustainability Consultant - Training

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sustainability Consultant with experience in training, to join our well established, specialist team in Leamington Spa.

In this role you will be delivering effective and professional sustainability training and consultancy services to both our members and other clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, maintain and deliver climate and environment training programmes to the highest standard to ensure that business needs and/or examination requirements are met.
• Act as programme manager for higher level environmental courses (Diploma and MSc)
• Act as a point of contact for developing training skills within the wider sustainability team
• Provide a high quality sustainability consultancy service to both members and clients.
• Maintain and develop relationships with new and existing members and clients to meet their current and future business needs.
• Continually promote EEF and its services, in conjunction with other areas of the business including marketing, policy etc. and the development of new products and services.
• Consistently deliver the sustainability aspects of the membership package to a high standard.

Knowledge & Experience:

• Full membership of IEMA (ideally CEnv) or CIWEM
• Degree or equivalent level in an environmental subject – a post graduate qualification is preferable
• Superb technical and training skills, including up to date knowledge of key sustainability issues affecting organisations
• Working knowledge of key environmental legislation and management systems
• Knowledge and experience of the manufacturing industry would be beneficial, but is not essential

In this role you will be primarily based at our venue site, Woodland Grange, however you will also be required to travel to other locations to complete both training and consultancy work, this will principally be within the UK, but may on occasion include some international travel.
